Lol, OL, reminds me of a few months ago, when we driving along in the car....'not sure what to wear tonight' (we were going out with friends) I said. Why don't you wear that red top i like he said.......'the one I'm wearing now?' I replied.......men!!
Thank you fairy, I expect you're right. Hope to get some of the summer once I finish.
Evening all phhhoooaaarrrrrr how hot!!! Almost unbearable at hampton court..... I have to say I was very disappointed with it this year. Not overly impressed with the plants in the displays only a few struck me ...... Thought the plants to buy were poor and v expensive. Only one I saw I really wanted and that was digitallis illumination raspberry it was lush..... Sadly no agapanthus well there were but they were quite £££. I would get bigger better plants from the oaktree nursery so sadly still had a lovely day out withy friend
No bekkie I didnt. The agapanthus were great bit on the ££ side. The agapanthus I got the other day is much bigger and better quality and I only paid a fiver for a 2l pot where as 9cm pots were £6
John - good to see you back after your epic journey - garden is looking spectacular with all those nasturtiums
potted up my "free" clematis that arrived yesterday, and all my new delphiniums are now in monster pots. I think they would get lost if I planted them out now, so will keep them in pots and wait ti spring, when they will have a fighting chance of growing up with everything else.
just had a power cut, so am posting something i wrote a couple of hours ago - its probably all out of sequence, so apologies if there has been news i have not commented on
