Bekkie, my gardening advisers all seem to have had bad experiences with DA roses, but I am going to give it my best shot, follow al the instructions etc. And they have a flower bed of marvellous manure to start off in. Not sure if that makes them 'divas'!

Dove - I can't wear tights - every time I try to put them on I stick my fingers through them. Just as well they make these 5000 denier ones now - they're like trousers!
Can't help with roses either I'm afraid.

Had a lovely lie in this morning as OH did the morning dog walk (there are times I quite like him) Your guests' lavender farm sounds lovely DD but the smell must be wonderful. I wonder if you stop noticing it when it's there all the time.
Hope you get your paperwork over and done with today Verdun and can relax a little.

Don't know that rose bekkie - I'll have to look it up. Very mild here today too KEF, just a few degrees cooler than you. Windy though and I believe we are going to get the tail end of the hurricane that has hit Bermuda on Monday night
We are going out tonight but if I put nail varnish on it will have to be clear or very pale as I chip it within minutes. Don't think I'm cut out to be elegant either.
