I wish DD! I'm itching to get outside and go for a walk but Reggie has woken up for some food and gone straight back to sleep. A friend did say that he might just want to sleep for the first few days (new routine, new smells, new food, no longer being surrounded by 20 other dogs barking all day and night...) We're trying to have a quiet day today but we'll be out for a walk later on whether he wants it or not!

  • Hi Wintersong. believing you to be local to me in the New Forest have you tried Wolvercroft on the Fordingbridge to Alderholt road for Clematis. Good cakes too. Worth a bit of a drive.

  • Good afternoon fellow potters! How are things with you? I'm hungry but thinking of just holding on until tonight when me and the guys go to Nando's for a friend's 27th.

How is everyone today? My garlic seems to be recovering all on it's own, which is strange. I've got some other very healthy strong ones and the snow from the other day doesn't seem t have affected them too much. And my roses are sprouting, hooray!

  • Hurrumph - yesterday the vacuum blew up and I had to get a new one.  Today I went to Homebase and spent £17 on a tin of wood stain for windowsills - when I got home I got out of the car and dropped it and the lid came off and it ran down the road!  Lovely builder cleared it all up - I will go and buy another tin over the weekend image

The builders and I have finished off the big pot of pea and ham soup and they've had lots of hot buttered toast as well - just the thing for this chilly weather, especially when they're having to work in the hallway with the front door wide open.

Glad to hear new doggies are making themselves at home image

I might be able to make room for some more clematis ..... I might .......image
