Cool and breezy here, but hoping for warmer later in the day. Looks like we're getting rain tomorrow and Sunday, so today had better be for potting on and planting up etc, and Saturday can be for the lawns ... well, that's the plan anyway
I'd better have a look at my gooseberries - last time I looked they were doing well. Mine are Hinonmaki Yellow which are lovely and sweet when ripe, so I'll pick half of them now-ish while they're green and tart and use them for cooking, then the rest will ripen in a few weeks' time (blackbirds permitting )

Farrier has been and trimmed horses' feet. Hannah was naughty and didn't want to be caught until I got a bucket of horse nuts - which was her cunning plan. I don't like doing that, it's like a reward, but farrier had other clients to go to.
Wish plumber would come back and re-attach the outside tap, pots need watering. Said he'd come first thing and it's after 10.30am.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Morning all - slightly better day here thankfully as it was only 6 degrees when I left work at half four yesterday. What's that about?

Magpies that steal the mealworms here. I hide some under some netting and the little birds can get in while they just look confused
Not really caught up here yet... and off to work in a few mins. Catch you all later if I get a chance. Have a good day
