Well, the tree man has been - Verdun would have been proud of me - I beat him down to £500!!! Ouch!!! But that's with the stump ground out as well. And it'll be the same week as the car is due for it's MOT
We'll have to persuade the hedgehog to move to the other side of the compost bins
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Morning all. We seem to have had a gale during the night, the garden looks like a herd of Wildebeast have been through the garden. Now it is very autumnal out there, with mist and a fine drizzle.
Dove, like the idea of a shiny black door, just like 10 Downing street.
Have a good day folks.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
Sounds bad to me Dove, especially as we are waiting for the price for two. There goes the decorating for the foreseeable future. Love the idea of your hedgehog having pretentious of living in No.10.
We've only had a bit of rain overnight but I'm sure the rest is due soon. Off to get crusty bread to go with the leek and potato soup.
Wonky - If I remember correctly there were showers on the morning of your wedding, but in the afternoon 'the sun came out and dried up all the rain' and by the time you and lovely hub came out of the church at 5.30ish the it was beautiful and sunny - just right for a Caribbean steel band, Rapping, hog roast and ice cream wedding party into the night Give your cousin a Huge Hug from me
Lesley, our tree has two trunks from about 3ft up, so it's like twice the work - also because of neighbour's garage roof they're going to have to be careful how they lower the branches.

Best Wishes to everyone for the day. I'm starting to sag now after a big day. We are watching a show about 'the Who' and I'm trying to appear interested for Hubby's sake. This is a sort of history of all their years together as well as the concerts, etc. I must admit I do know some of their work, but Hubby knows the lot! .
hallo, there is now another one straight after. The guys are much older in this one.

Dove - this is what your hedgehog needs for Christmas
Jo, what present was that? My old cat used to leave dead mice on the door mat for me to praise and admire.
Good morning all
