    especially like the happy hearts.

I think it's going to be tea/ coffee then off for a wander to build up appetite. ( and let hubby have the kitchen to himself. His OCD won't allow anything else )

Please forgive the state of the garden. Knackered knee since Jan and hubby working 200 miles away have left it looking less than perfect.image

jo, I adoooooooooooooooooooore all the glass, esp the view from the entrance to the kitchen , through the window and over the pool.

My only reservation was that beautiful pivoting front door. Being a bungalow, opening that in winter is going to let a huuuuuuuuuuuge amount of hot air out, and a similar amount of cold air in.

You're right there Hosta, there's times in winter gales when we can't even open doors for the force of the wind.

plan sounds good for Friday, a walk around the lake would be fantastic,

jo, I can't begin to tell you how envious I am.

If I had the £1.3m spare, and our stupid council would allow it, I'd copy it tomorrow.

what a difference a day makes.

Yesterday, sunbathing on terrace. To-day felt really chilly sitting on the mower for 3 hours. I almost came up for a jacket.

Hosta you're probably not allowed to use that front door in inclement weather.  I appreciated the quality of it but it all seemed a bit sterile to me.

Dove you didn't let Clarkson past you then - that's my girlimage.  Nice heucheras btwimage

Jo you were very busy in the garden today.  What a lot got done.  I was on my knees weeding for most of the afternoon plus trying to sort out the tangle of brambles and nettles that are growing through the neighbours fenceimage.

Rb sorry to hear about the fine - hope it can be sorted in your favour.  I was once caught out at a car park which had been free but they started charging overnight and I didn't see the small signs.

Glad you had a nice day with GD Yvieimage

No change re mum Jo.  I'm going in to see her tomorrow, I'm hoping the increased antibiotics will have an impact.

Took delivery yesterday of what was supposed to be 5m of capilliary matting.  They sent me 0.5mimage  Why would they think I was paying £14 for half a metre.
