Evening all, just popped on to say high.  Verdun has done well with the weather, it was georgeous again today.  Spent the day on the beach with a picnic and lots of ice cream.  This evening we all went out for a meal to celebrate the fact that today I am one year closer to the magic 27. Hope the weather holds out for tomorrow then its back home on Friday to make sure the garden is fine and that the irrigation system has kept everything well watered.

Hi from Kingswinford in the West Midlands

    Morning all.

Having our friend to stay for a few days was wonderful, but the mad " things that have to be done" rush after she'd gone has left me totally worn out.

Working to-day so not much gardening, well, maybe a bit when I get home image

Have a good day one and all.

Have a good day at the saltmines Hosta and all

I got woken up early by a dog who is just so happy to be alive. Wet tongue in the face job.

Fed the birds twice already this morning, the starlings that usually come have trippled their numbers with chicks, first time I've seen them altogether, it's madness out there like a scene from the birds movie, and the noise is sure to wake the neighbours image

Our house guest was woken at 5am by the birds whilst staying here.

Another reason not to have the windows open ( neighbours' cats are fond of jumping in )

    Good morning all image

Yes, we've got teenage starlings hanging around - and if we're not out in the garden they steal the mealworms - I suppose they don't understand they're for the baby robins image

Have a good day folks image

    Morning allimage

Hope you got your bid finished Clari - and that it gets you the funding.  So annoying when you get landed with an impossible deadline due to someone elses incompetenceimage.  But sometimes adrenalin can produce the best results.....hopefully your case will now be so compelling it will be impossible to refuseimage

Garden's looking great Womble .....every time you post another pic, a further transformation has taken placeimage

Good luck with the driving lessons Winter ....gotta put that new car to good useimage

    Good morning allimage

Have a good day at work Hosta and all the other minersimage

When we first moved into our house the previous owners just lived round the corner and their cat used to jump on our bedroom windowsill and miaow loudly to be let inimage

Hope our starlings have now fledged and vacated the eaves.  Dove you'll need to put up a 'robins only' sign.  That'll stop themimage

Market day here so will see if the plant stalls are any goodimage
