Slugs and snails are responsibility of black robin and friends.... We have a deal. Had nice walk down the canal to post office saw mum and teenager ducks and then lovely family of mallards with 6 wee ducklings.

OK next question where did you get arch, my OH is slightly more vertically able and knowing where to get tall things is always a issue, though he comes into hesown tree pruning!

Hosts that sounds like result. Hate couch grass!

Clari ((hugs)) definitely due - I take it you have a Board of Trustees or similar???  Do you have to deliver an annual report???  image  But in the meantime, lots of luck and positive vibes heading your way, and more ((hugs)).

At the moment I'm trying to advise/mentor someone applying for arts project funding ... the requirements seem to change daily image

One good thing about the leak - I've sold my old cooker to the plumber's son! I was going to clean it and advertise it, but he's taken it away dirty so I gave him a discount.

Finished planting all my pots and troughs. Have quite a few seed grown tatty looking petunias left over. They should have been potted on again, but now I don't need them anyway.

Womble, garden is coming on beautifully.

Sorry you have had such a rotten day! I find if something is important to you but not as important to others then it never gets done! I don't trust anyone with any task that's important to me, but sometimes especially at work its out of our hands and other peoples ineptitude is so frustrating! image

Thanks for the lovely feedback on the garden all! Ice, the arch was a bargain at the range for eight quid! image if oh has trouble with clothes too, tell him to try website called 2tall, hubby uses it, inside leg if 38!!!!! Mines 28 image

Clari, what a nightmare.  I bet a few words would flow in your boss's directionimage.

Shame I wasn't around to order an ice-cream lily but it sounds as though you had a lovely time.

Lizzie well done on your cooker sale and the result of not having to clean the ovenimage. At least you are nearly sorted now.  Imagine if they had had to dig up all the concrete.

Winter you must be getting excited about your new carimage.  Lucky girl.  Wonky your garden looks a treat after all the effort you've put inimage.

I'm off to bed as my eyes are trying to close while typing.  Night all
