Evening all, Unexpected guests tonight Firstborn and family plus secondborn and partner.  Had a Thai takeaway, plenty of wine and now settled in front of a film with babies in bed.

Hope little one sleeps as she is in our room.

Nice to hear from you Bekkie.

Turned into a lovely day here. Evening plans changed so if I hadn't. been in bath by time I knew. I could have spent soooo much more time in garden.

Lovely yvie having littley in your room, wish id allowed it more with my son, even now. Ah memories.

Hope all aches n pains disappear soon for everyone.

Is kef awol? And Stacey still not a regular?

Friend came round later tonight, said thanks for a plant i gave her. Couldn't remember at first but its one that was boken as her n son played in summer so gave her the 'cutting'. Its one of my favourites - salvia hot lips, she's thrilled with it.

  • Morning all..... Just thought I would pop in quickly to say a quick hi..... I'm sorry I haven't been around much but regrettably my illness is back and I am spending all my energy and time fighting it. For those of you that don't know I had a brain tumour removed 2 years ago and sadly another has sprouted up!!!! The prognosis isn't terminal but neither is it good. Saying that I'm a feisty old bird and won't be beaten...... Sadly at the moment my garden is suffering a little as time to get our is rare in between treatment and recovery but I'm looking forward to being out there in the spring to sort it out!!! Ooooo just noticed I'm first post! Take care people and I will pop by again soon xxxxxxxx

    Good morning everyone image

Really sorry to hear that Stacey.  You sound as though you have a great attitude and I'm sure your garden will manage just fine till spring.

Loved your pic of the rainbow yesterday Fairyimage

Our heating has been on quite a few times already Dove but that's only to be expected here.

Good morning all image  Bright but only 4C here, bit of a shock after leaving 25C in Crete.

Loads to do in the garden so bye bye to nice clean hands.

Took me 20 mins yesterday to remember where I'd hidden my car keys image

Won't even try to catch up on the chat I've missed during the last three weeks.

Stacey hugs I'm sorry you are having to battle again but certain you will win through xx

Thanks Dove image Garden is okay if you ignore all the weeds and leaves and long grass image Going to be very busy for a few days weather permitting.
