Morning all! Today sees the first education tour since we opened up the new floor and changed the way things work (letting the groups explore some areas at their own pace rather than being marched around by me all day: I mean I have a wonderful voice but it MUST get boring listening to it ALLLLL day). I finally stopped playing around with the Explorers Pack that guides them along at 21:00 last night. Now my only (big) worry is that it'll print okay! (I'll be changing it again soon: more pictures are needed!)
As you would expect I am now nursing ANOTHER cold. One of those real snot fountains that make you seriously consider installing a drip tray. Yay! My classroom is being repainted next week: do you think the decorators would mind also popping a sheep dip type affair in? I know I was wondering about a calming plant or fish tank but a dip tray filled with disinfectant really might be the way forward.
Morning Clari - the stuffed head drippy nose syndrome seems to be working it's way around the country, closely followed by the rattly chest and blocked ear syndrome - don't think there's any escape
OH swears by First Defence, and at least when he got the lurgy it only lasted a couple of days so maybe that's the way to go before letting children into the building - he uses it before getting on public transport!!!
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Hope everyone has had a goodnight's sleep and all the sick people are staring to feel human again.
Hope you get your printing done ok Clari, as an ex-teacher know exactly what you mean. One campus I had to teach at occasionally had a paper rationing scheme and come the end of the month there was no more to be had, I used to skulk around printer hoping other tutors would leave their leftovers in the tray by mistake.
My mum used to say that the reason she didn't do housework very often was because she was building up our immune systems, worth a go I suppose.
Really lovely day at the zoo yesterday, more like a safari park, except you walk around not drive, some super landscaping and the animals all looked well cared for and happy. Boys had a fantastic time and the weather was fine too. Was exhausted by the time we got back so early night but feel ready for action today.
Good day to all.

Morning, there's been snow in the hill last night. Looks chilly still Lesley wrap up!
Clari, hope the tour goes ok and you dont "drip" too much
For those trying to avoid bugs try to wash your hands after being in public places. I carry waterless soap and use when I get back in the car . A nurse gave me this tip.
glad Grorge is better and hope that he keeps it up.
DD I remember only too well doing all the kids activities, OH was always busy.
i am sure my daughters school thought I was a single mum. Now we have a granddaughter we thrill at playing with her. S I L always busy. History repeats itself
nursing OH today who had minor surgery yesterday. Hoping a days TLC works as have plans for tomorrow!
have a good day forkers

So Clari, you need to invent
A decontamination chamber for children
A method of bringing lots of plants home for non gardeners
And a facial drip tray for runny noses
Then you will be rich and can play in the garden all the time !
Im pleased George is back to pottering about, but he has lay in the soggy horse poo mulch, smells disgusting!
Good morning
Clari I think the dip tray is the way to go
. Have you had any say in what colour your room is decorated?
Bekkie my OH manages to get the pillowcase off every night while he's asleep. Don't know how
It looks frosty out this morning so I'm hoping the walk will wake me up. See you later.
