Rb was the dog's name Bowie by any chance? Sounds lovely but very hairy. I have made an appointment for an eye test but it will be next Friday. I've been saying I'll do it for the last couple of years but this forum has given me a kick where it's needed.
I'm going to be a lady who lunches tomorrow with 2 sils and 2 nieces. OH and sons are bowling and they can do their own lunch (and dinner).
Freezing here at Doves too Lesley! Sitting out having a smoke and cuppa, feeding robins and directing starlings to the dried mealworms! wearing a t shirt, longsleaved shirt, massive wooly cardie and a denim jacket! I packed shorts!
Dug more ash tree roots.....surprise! moved and dug in compost for planting snowdrops in, watered everything, think its gonna rain now haha! More work tomorrow, hope its warmer!
Hope you have a lovely time with your new pooch Matty!
And best of luck and congratulations on the betrothal party Figet!
Stuffed on Spanish chicken, Doves done me proud again! haven't even had room for the scones yet! They won't go to waste so stay in ya seats!
Yes Lesley - Bowie fans here, myself and older fairylet. Her dad gave her a compilation cd for Christmas
Wonder if chicklet got to her prom ok...
Chicken and veg consumed. Watching Landward and then an early night. Heading to Blair Atholl to do one of the hills there - weather permitting. Long day.
Have a good evening everyone. I will catch up tomorrow with you all - unless I'm too kn*****ed
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

It's a beautiful rose, Dacha. Is it perfumed? Most roses have names. I think all cultivated and bred by man ones do.
Lovely evening here, still sunny. Going to have stuffed courgettes (picked 7 today and yesterday).
Verdun promised us some sun up here....no sign of it apart from an hour this afternoon - and still a cold wind
RB - one blue eye and one brown - are you sure it was a husky - and not David Bowie?
Hope the snifflers and snufflers feel better soon. Horrible having colds at this time of year.
I should have something to eat. I was too busy watching the tennis
