Think I ate some greenfly the other day. They were on the lettuce I picked. I didn't think about it till I saw one on my hand when I was eating my sarnie! Daughter picked some yesterday and said ' Mum, there's greenfly on the lettuce' ...
Nice and crunchy though...

Wonderful day with Hosta and his OH - both absolute darlings, and what a fabulous breakfast!!! and some of the best chutney ever to take away with us, plus plants - of which more later - and Lyn and her OH - lovely lovely people ........ and a saunter around the 'estate' - what a day that was!!!
I've had a quick scan read back - many ((hugs)) to those of you dealing with worry, sadness, anxiety, ill health and real tragedy ... such a lot in a few days and so much understanding and support given - what a great place this is
Now I must load the washing machine and pick tomatoes/courgettes/beans/grapes etc .......... see you in a bit .......

Hosta, tell your lovely OH that his chutney is wonderful - it goes marvellously with Cornish pasties!!! Just a scraping left in the bottom of the jar to bring home with us ...
