Hard day at work. Local nutter(not feeling very pc) took up an hour and a half. No touching a rusty drainpipe will not kill you. The glass of SB And half a bottle of western australian cab sav might finish me off. I bought a selection of cheeses at Chatsworth farm shop. Colston basset stilton v shepherd's purse yorkshire blue v dovedale blue. My moneys on the yorkshire blue. Hubby prefers colston basset. Mmm. Feeling very mellow at the mo.
I've got a confession. I have an encrusted oven. I also have a quote for a new kitchen. Man at b and q kept saying I have a big kitchen. I need lots of units. I have picked the most expensive range. Really? Quelle surprise.
He kept on telling me that it was going to be expensive. He seemed to be implying I couldn't afford it. He wasn't at all impressed when I said his quote for fitting was ridiculous, my brother is an electrician and qualified gas fitter, and I am getting a quote from Howdens and Magnet.
Mmm - nice cheeses Fidget and nice wine too - not surprised you're feeling a little mellow
Had a similar situation to DD when we rented a holiday villa in Spain. Can't remember what I was going to cook but it needed an oven. Put the oven on to heat up & went outside for a glass of something cool by the pool. Went back indoors to find the house full of blue greasy smoke. Never did cook in that oven and it took about 3 days to get rid of the smell
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
Hmmmmmmm. Is this the time to admit I have an Aga I inherited it when I moved in here. Have had it all redone and wouldn't swap it for the world. Looks after itself as long as I keep the top clean, heats the water and kitchen
Hosta how are you going to do all this with your poor knee, take care
fidget I adore cheese too

Hello again everyone. Glad you're at least able to post a message Panda. I hope you can get on top if the chest infection. Nasty.
ive been outside collecting raspberries again - I swear they hide and then reappear a few hours later. It's very hot out there, so i've asked Hubby to pick the loganberries. Sweat dripping all over me now that I've come inside and had a sip of cold water. bah!
ive planted the very last of my seedlings this morning so no need to keep watering little pots- just moving hoses which is less fiddly. They were the last of the tomatoes, eggplants and chilli that I'd grown from my saved seeds.

Hosta I hope you're feeling a bit warmer
