  • Morning all. Not raining here yet but quite misty and still a bit dark. Got lights on at the mo. Looks like a housework day today. Then may pop to the garden centre.  Tea and brekkie calls see you later. Have a good day

  • Verd yes I have a spectacular bunch of them saved from a neighbour who was pulling them up ( u know I like my saved plants) I have to say they are not looking v healthy ATM!!!

  • Verdun/Stacey have just googled white swan, what a pretty flower. Would I be able to get one this time of year or would I have to wait till spring? Would love one or two of those have the perfect spot.

    Good Morning & Hello.

    Misty and damp here.

Supermarket day with Mum, a long process. But at least it's time away from her home.

Verdun have you had magic mushrooms for brekkie?

  • I may have to face the fact that I may not be destined to own wild swan despite my love of them....

  • Wake up Verd., dream over, it's morning nowimage.

My owls were having a meeting last night too as I walked home from hortisoc. meeting.  At the moment there must be loads of food out there in the countryside since the birds aren't feeding much on my feeders at present. They will be back and the blackbirds are now gorging on crab apples on my Everest tree.

Getting ready for friends coming later. Tomorrow is an ol'boys lunch (workmates) in London which is always enjoyable.

    Have a good one everyone....image

KEF I was just thinking the same about magic mushrooms.

Foggy and damp here. hould be removing brambles from the orchard today but my hearts not in it, think I will go shopping for our forthcoming hols!

Reflecting on the last few days on the forum I think those of us that appear regularly need to try to continue the good cheer and helpful comments that are what the site has largely been like since I joined. I think Verduns reply on the apple pruning saga was spot on, and I feel that if we could spot tensions starting we may be able to stop them.

Finally if Tea is still reading the forum I hope things sort themselves out and that we can welcome you back

How can you lie there and think of England
