Hello everyone Had a quick catch up, sorry you're under the weather Doveand hope you feel better soon. No sympathy for self inflicted under the weather-ness Panda, which is also what I told my OH this morning
I've had a lovely day out with my friend, went to a GC and had lunch, I was going to buy a new orchid but couldn't justify the cost of a 'perfect' one so bought a bargain basement one, in desperate need of TLC for £2.40!! All repotted now in a lovely purple glass orchid pot and looking happy in it's new home.
Got home and OH had mowed the lawn, cut the hedges as best he could, he still needs to go round to the field to do the other side of the back ones and chopped up lots of firewood which was delivered yesterday.
I was out until it was dark planting my snowdrops, managed to get half done. Lily, I got loads more as well and they are great, really pleased with them. Just going to have a catch up on others threads now and post a new help question, just in case any of you lovely people want to help me, again
Don't be sorry panda, we all need a good night out, bamboo shoots can become very boring but you just don't get sympathy LOL Are you feeling better now?
Lizzie, I forgot to say your roses are beautiful
I can make good cakes too, I used to make Victoria Sponge for fundraising and raised almost £500 for the chosen charity
Evening all omg what a fantastic day..... Shorts in march!!!! Baking here..... Cleared out the chooks and cleared the garden... Went to the GC to get grass seed and soil to repair the thread bear lawn! Managed to sneak in a gladiator lupin orange and yellow Which sounds great v healthy plant as well.... some signed of growth on thalictrum and astrantia hurrah!!!! And my clematis is now huge but I'm not risking planting it out just yet!! Lo is over the moon cause we put the climbing frame and slide back onto the grass!!! right need a g&t!!! Laters peeps
Tracey it's only been a week you should expect to see some this week... Do you have them covered by a bag/freezer bag? All mine are up (36 of them) I'm going to be struggling for room soon....
They are in seed trays with lids in Stacey, I'm not sure how many I'll get but I also sowed cucumbers, tomatoes and Aubergine last night, along with LOADS of flower seeds. When they are all up my back lounge will look like a greenhouse!!! There is a method in my madness
