All packed for a weekend in the New Forest - littlest chicklet has her final DofE expedition, and coincidentally is walking where I grew up ! So I am staying with Dad the weekend, to save all the to-ing and fro-ing. Hoping to make a trip to Mottisfont Abbey tomorrow to see the roses - might have to dodge the showers. Will pick some sweetpeas in the morning to leave in a special place to remember my Mum.
Been sowing seeds a bit today into veg patch beetroot, carrots like Monty but black and purple ones, radish and a load of leafy veg

Goodie that I finished my penicillin but yesterday in garden even with trousers on some bug bit the right lower leg - not as bad as other bite but about an inch area and painful and itchy really don't know what it was that bit me, but want them to stop it

Monty planting the grass I got loads of briza maxima I was collecting seeds yesterday I got a whole load of them, there are so many nice plants on the show
