KEF it's my niece's 30th birthday party. Whatever happened to the days of jelly and ice-cream. Thanks for the hug.image

Just got in from Mottisfont visit - cut short by the rain, but fab whilst it lasted image

So many roses crammed in, with other things interplanted. No attempt at year round interest - go in June, when the rose explosion is happening, or don't bother at all!image. Will maybe post a pic tomorrow when normal service is resumed image

I can't do smileys on basic editor...so smile for Lesley.

Chicky glad you enjoyed M. Doubt normal service on forum will resume until Monday that's what usually happens. Packs in midnight Friday and works first thing Monday.

I can get the fork in the clay next door now, although its still pretty dry. Need more rain up here. I planted some salvias but broke peach cobbler. I made three cuttings, so fingers crossed. I like hot lips, currently red and white.

Amistad is going to be huge.

Cosmos are starting to flower now, and the overwintered dahlias.

I'm glad you like the cosmos,Mrs Garden, I find they are good fillers while you wait for perennials to fill out.
