'They' have no idea what they are talking about - we're only 27 (and a bit). I'm off for a bath and sort out the blister on my hand. Serves me right for using the secateurs on thick stems on the hedge
Hi folks, wasn't around this morning as I was on early nanna duty. I'm so glad that our Kingdom is still United and I hope any issues north of the border are sorted out and that a good compromise is reached.
So excited for you OL, I've made quite a few dramatic changes so far during my life and they have all turned out for the best, so good luck to you and OH.
Weather here has been drizzily, not sure we had enough to keep the garden happy though.
Popped into the GC by my daughters today and bought a couple of trays of violas and pansys to had a bit of colour to the pots until the bulbs come through in the Spring.
Have spent most of the day trying to stop the little b####r biting Georges nose! The dishwasher cant be fixed- grrrrr! One good thing was my mom gave me a lift to get the dogs medicine
You lot have been busy again, its taken a while to read back, but now i cant remember what i read!
Hi Topbird - they're a lovely lot at "World of Wool", very helpful, and let you help yourself to tea/coffee in their staff canteen. Great Yorkshire hospitality!
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
That's my next GC visit Yvie to buy pansies. I just love the brightness they bring to a gloomy season
I had a eureka moment in the bath. Are you listening lily and chicky. Your acorn problem could be solved in a few easy steps. First pick up a handful of acorns, Second find trowel and bury them somewhere in the garden. Third - repeat. See: no more acorns. Hope this helps
Just saw your post bekkie. Glad you got a lift today. Four bus changes sounds a nightmare. I knew George wouldn't be thrilled with the youngster. Don't think I'd be thrilled with a youngster now either.

Fairy - thanks!
OL - hope your exciting change of direction lives up to expectations! Challenging but rewarding, I hope.
BM - hope you're tiptoeing round that puppy...

Or get a squirrel to do it for you.
I let the squirrels and jays have their fill, and just mow up the leaves afterwards.
