I put signs up in a few bit of the garden - woodland garden, nursery bed, bee and butterfly garden
It was one of those things at the station of not having much colour at this time of year now we do
Hard to keep thing watered in summer and lost a few plants cause of the heat, that is why we added the painted sleepers at the back of the garden to give colour when not much in colour in the garden
Verdun you were up early painting - good to tick things of the list
Woody like the sound of your sign, will you make one?
Well done lily - Fairy's really happy now We had rain on Monday - all day long so the ground is still fairly moist and birdbaths full.
Enjoy having your visitors Beau. Not had chance to look at bulbs yet as I was trawling the shops looking for a birthday present for my Mum. Got some clothes but they were from Marks so she'll be able to take them back
Hope everything goes really well for you OL. Bet you and OH are very excited now.
Fairy will you leave your bench out all winter or cover it up? You've been painting, so's Yvie and now Verdun. I haven't got anything to paint outside and I'm certainly not starting anything inside yet.
Called in at Aldi and picked up four of their little evergreen plants (I did pay for them too). There's a pink Camelia, Ceanothus, Pieris and pink Azalea, all healthy looking plants. £1.79 each in 9cm pots. They've a long way to go but if I can keep them alive in pots for a couple of years I'll have just the place for them
Back from a shopping trip - very exciting - gravel, fence post caps and roof seal for the shed
other women buy shoes...
Rain never happened - all it did was dampen the top of the growhouses! I'll leave the bench out Lesley - no decent outdoor storage here which I'm not used to. It's outdoor paint on it anyway. I could cover it but probably won't bother - I'm not very keen on those covers so it'll have to just get on with it.
What's your prezzie Dove?
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
But you diD good shopping fairy, that's half the battle sometimes
Sounds like you had good time in aldis too Lesley
My back aches from rushing around making beds up, shopping, niece present buying and wrapping, watering garden as we only had spit of rain and now I need to borrow your book please dove and a nice cup of tea
Cant believe how hot and sunny it is, seems weird to be planting my bulbs!
And just glanced at calendar and OH on late shift and won't be home till nine the earliest! Think he is gonna owe me big time!!!!

A wonderful book "Remarkable Plants that Shape our World" - fascinating information and brilliantly illustrated - just my sort of book

Oh, a friend in NE London has just said that they're having an absolute cloudburst - she says it's so loud they can't have a conversation!!!
That'll fill the waterbutts!

Sorry Fairy, did try to send you the rain
sunny here now too
Always lovely to get a nice prezzie Dove. That'll keep you out of trouble while you recover from your injuries

Woody - you need a house on it ...then it can be your 'Little House on the Prairie'...
Been very lazy - washed some of the gravel for putting by the pond...
That's all
