Chicky I was in Nottingham for 6 years as a junior doctor and spent a lot of time at Rock City, Yates and a club called the Irish.

Saw The Pogues at Rock City on New Years Eve.

Loved the City, it was a time in my life where I worked unbelievably hard, but then played even harder, very little sleep was had. [ Your life in their hands ]

How can you lie there and think of England
When you don't even know who's in the team

That's show business for you - make up a name and you've made itimage. I wish I'd thought to make up a better name ....

Thanks for the sympathy but it's my own fault for trying to de-bone chicken thighs.

Sleep well everyone, see you tomorrow

Fidget - so glad that the JB Warren and the Hand&heart are still thereimage.  If all goes well and Chicklet gets there (she wants to do Psychology) then I will look harder for them next time.

and Pdoc - good chance we were both at the Irish Centre at the same time ...Thursday nights, upstairs bar??  Drove past it on Weds and got unbelievably excited  that it was still there, looking as earthy as it ever didimage. Runny - might have bumped into your son too.  I've still got friends from those days too ......fantastic timesimage

Rather early for me, still dark out there!  Woke up and fancied a cuppa.

Not sure about K. Lemon, but did know that's not really him. image But he seems to be on rather a lot so must be popular and worth a bit now image

Not sure what I'm up to today, but if the weather stays dry i'll go for a walk.

Have a good day TTFN x

I noticed the bird song this morning Chicky. Flynn was up at 4.30image so I left OH sleeping. He works so hard and most evenings as well on business projects so it was the least I could do.

It's our anniversary today. 27 years married. 28 together. Can't believe I'm actually broadcasting this since I'm a pragmatic girl at heart and we don't really celebrate this occasion or B days too much except as our morning greeting with hugs. image

Christmas is different because its about family. Truth be told, I never planned on getting married or having any off springimage then I met him and I knew straight away that I would be with him forever. I agreed on the certificate to give my boys the same last name but it was a struggle getting me inside the registry office. I cancelled the big wedding a few weeks before due to stress and we got married on the spur of the moment (in a February heat wave if anyone remembers that) with a few days in Cornwallimage

I've never worn a ring and never regretted my decision although since I did all that for him, he's been paying me back ever sinceimage

Changing the subject...spotted the tips of some tulips coming thought in their pots and one very keen allium in a border. Can't wait!!!!image
