Hope the pills work and you soon feel better Rb.

What a shame about the oak tree Matty but glad that your garden wasn't flattened.

Wonky you are very braveimage.  Perhaps Dove will lend you all her potsimage.

Fingers crossed for you Pandaimage. Got to dash as I'm taxiing son around this evening.

Hard day in garden but doesn't seem much now. Late doing everything this year.

Planted courgettes and outside tomatoes, also some sunflowers, - had to weed raised bed first for this lot! Sunflowers are supposed to be for flowering end of July but I have a feeling should have been planted out much earlier, still that's why I'm having a trial run

Had quite a few Ammi so have plonked them in a big square container, didn't know where else to put themimage

I know there's  another thread for what's been done but never really got into it.!

Hope those feeling poorly are feeling better, rotten time of year to feel rough, and despite visitors and cold your job interview leads to other things Panda

well done on entering competition, some one tried to persuade me to enter a local one a couple of years back. He said the judges like quirky gardens -was not sure whether it was a criticism or a complement or if he was a bit strange!!!!!!

    Hope we'll have some pictures

Runnybeak it's probably because you are growing them upside downimage

Didn't get up until 10.45 this morning. Must have needed the sleep, don't normally lie in that late.

Straight in the garden and have just come back in.  Did lots of weeding and planted out some lovely perennial violas (part of my birthday pressie from First and Secondborn).

Edged the lawns, can't mow as they are being treated tomorrow.  Ooh grandchildren on facetime.  See you later.

Sorry you aren't well RB. Hope you get better soon.

Well done for passing your test Wintersong.

We flew to Stansted yesterday, took bus then train to Amersham, now staying with OH's BIL. He'll drive us to Heathrow to catch plane to New York tomorrow.

We went to Waterperry Garden today, lovely. Plants I wanted to buy but couldn't.

Using OH's ipad, has taken a bit of time to get to grips with it.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

    Morning all.

Lovely clear morning and I have to go to work.

Alarm set for 5.45 which, no doubt, explains why I've been awake since 4am.

    Devon.

Good morning all image  it's absolutely glorious out there!!!    The birdsong woke me really early and I've been up and wandering about in the garden for quite a while.  The robins are tucking into their mealworms and there's a beautiful jay investigating the far end of the garden.

Wonky and I have had a look at the weather forecast and will probably go to The Old Vicarage East Ruston today as there's light rain forecast for tomorrow. I'll pick her up and we'll visit Ma first then head up the Norfolk coast to East Ruston.  I'll make sure the camera is charged up image
