Been to Dr. He was very nice and of a similar age to me, so it was easy to talk to him. A urine test showed huge infection somewhere, so tomorrow visit to pathology for other tests. This is a prelude to further tests when he can narrow down what's going on.  At least it partly explains why I've been feeling rotten for weeks. This will take time, so I'm not expecting a quick result.image

Hope your holiday preparations go well Dove and that the weather is good for everyone.  Catch you all later.image

  • Glad you've got a doc you can talk to Pat - it's so important.  Hope you're feeling much better by the time we get back from the land of the pasty image

Right, just one more coffee then I'm off to get a new satnav - I'll try to get a Garmin like the last one so I don't have to acclimatise myself image

Beautiful weather here today, maybe the jet stream has lifted a bit.

i am about to make a lemon drizzle cake and a courgette cake, isn't funny how you don't know you have a cut on your finger until you prepare a lemon image

You would be welcome to some if you are ever up this way. Verdun.

The weather is  still the same here, which is unusual , it blows off the Moor,, must get out soon, waiting for cakes to come out of the oven, I know what will happen if I go outside. I usually take the timer with me!
