I've been pottering around all day mostly inside, making yet again more strawberry jam this time with some raspberries which are beginning to ripen, having a little clean out of the bathroom cupboard, moving hoses around outside, etc. I might shout myself a nice cup of tea, since you've reminded me to have a hot drink.

Winter is this going to be the final week of renovations? You will need a good rest after all that tiling and decorating.
Panda hope you have a good journey today. The weather can't possibly be worse than yesterday and the wind seems to have died down overnight. Will be thinking about you tomorrow.

Lesley, don't feel guilty about your cuboards - this is the first time I've done mine in 10 years! Re. The jam, I've already passed 4 jars to my daughter and then did another 5 today. Sigh! Need more storage cupboards.
Good morning Dove. It sounds as though all of you over there need to stay inside today.
Hubby and I have moved out to the eastern verandah for a bit of a cool break before the evening meal and television. It's rather nice except for a blow fly which is intent on dive bombing me. The back of the house (western side) is baking hot. We're trying to resist moving back inside and turning the air conditioning on. HRH is struggling, poor old thing, and panting and getting up and down all the time. She's due for her 6 weekly grooming on Wednesday, so hopefully, she'll feel more comfortable with some of the hair gone.
i hope everyone is feeling OK. Keep thinking about Lily Pilly with her back and all the others who have aches and pains.
