Got a delivery this afternoon (thanks Jo ) On went the waterproof coat, the waterproof trewsers and the wellingtons . . . . has been raining all day . . . . tree went to soak in the wheelbarrow . . . . . full of rainwater . . . . . hole dug . . . . tree in. . . . no pic taken as far too wet out Will get out and take one when the rain stops . . . . at some point this week
Sadly bamboo would have required a lot more prep than I gave my new . . . . twisted willow Plus, bamboo wouldn't last long enough to get in the ground before it ended up in my tummy

Grrr Verdun! "What rain?" indeed!!
Verdun, did you once tell me to plant echinacea in the spring rather than autumn?

We seem to have swapped weather with all of you in the south. I should commiserate but ....
Verd - I just made an appointment for the dentist next week - it's at two thirty !
I have visions of Pat with a ladle now.
A sterile jar should be fine. I was going to say ' it's a piece of p*** ' but perhaps not...
Off to cut my grass in a moment or three. I'll catch up after tea/dinner
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Glorious here too, Verdun & Fairy! Should I feel guilty cos it's raining elsewhere?
Maybe not... don't suppose it'll last so I'll make the most of it while it's here.
Verd - my dentist is a woman, but she's just left. Must be something I said ....
She's been replaced - by another woman
Cloud coming in now but the grass should be quite dry. Might just about be the last cut of the year here unless it gets very mild and wet suddenly.
