Happy New Year everyone and happy gardening in 2014.
The rain and wind woke me up. Beautilful day yesterday but back to gales today.
Glad your op went well, John and hope you'll soon be home. A friend had a similar operation and within weeks was able to walk miles ocross Dartmoor pain free.
Thanks Pottie, Had op yesterday and all seems well. Ward sister saw I was awake at 4.45 this morning so she got me out of bed and standing with a Zimmer frame. I am amazed I could stand already without pain. Got 2 work on getting a 90 decree bend before they'll let me go home!
Brilliant news John Happy New Year everyone ...... I watched fireworks from the bedroom windows while OH slept soundly with earplugs in - these younger men .... can't take the pace
I've just come back from a brisk power walk - starting the year as I mean to go on - heading for the shower now .......................
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Happy New year to you all, i hope 2014 is as good and kind to you as you all are to each other on this board, John my OH had his knee done last Jan op on monday 5.pm home Wed 7.pm never looked back just do your exercises properly and it will all be fine.
Bright eyed and bushy tailed? Not very likely but am up and away in this wet and windy new year. If the weather is anything to go on it's definitely more of the same!
No complaints however: but not sure if the flower count will get done today.
