Morning all. Damp here again, but supposed to clear up later before the rain tomorrow. At least it's getting into double figures now
Go for it Hosta. At least if you give it a go you won't turn round later and say I wish I'd done it. What's that quote - regret the things you do, not the things you don't.
The local kids had an early sex education lesson watching the ladybirds'making babies' on my fence last night when I was cutting grass At least I'll have plenty to eat the aphids
Glad chicklet's exams are nearing the end. 'Ok' is about as much as I get too!
Off to work in a moment or two. Have a good day everyone
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Fairygirl you just reminded me! My neighbours girls like to sit in the back of their dads pick up with their friends. Its as far from the house as they can get but that means they're closer to me in my own garden. Doesn't bother us as we can't see them but yesterday while I was pottering around and realised they were talking about...
Boys.
These girls are all junior school at most. They're small, sweet, and generally should be innocent to life. I damn near choked when I heard them deciding on which boy to kiss!
This must have been the first time that I wished my hearing was just a little but worse! (Really need to find lipreading course!)
Morning guys bit damp here but promise of sun later going to marketing today looking for grasses and local nurseries have stalls there. If no grasses it would be rude not to buy something else anyway
Have another lovely day Dove&Wonky you two do get about are you growing your new roses up trellis or a wall whatever they sound special envy of your day out Wonky those pics wanted to see more.
After retiring from business I hankered after a small nursery that was on sale and the chairman wasn't up for it. Every time we visit or drive past I think of my plans for it.
Possibly I'm not plant knowledgeable enough but the people who have it really don't seem to have made the most of it.(sour grapes)
If you have the dream Hosta go for it( keep us in mind for passes for special plant sale days , you have a readymade customer base)
Getting excited now as off on family weekend tomorrow until Tuesday - 1 caravan, 3 tents, 1 dog, and most important 2 grandchildren
Hosta - along time ago nowwe were going to take up a business opportunity but it didn't happen for various reasons. Wish we had but I think we were staring too big. Selling plants at market/fles market/car boot would be a great way to start and you would see how much of your time you would need to be able to produce good products.
PS if you use on-line/mail order a customer here as well
My lovely peone buckeye Belle has joined me in the garden
PS - glorious day again - no sign of wet stuff from the sky
Hi, I'm late to the chat today. OH started to dig up the large box ball this morning and it started raining. Rb my thermometer is showing 15'. Won't stop me from having a larger tonight though now Verdun has put me in the mood for one
Have a lovely time with the family Matty. Lovely peony.
Jo remember to take another pic when your poppy opens. I've just noticed a clematis at the bottom of the garden that's covered in buds and I can't for the life me remember what colour it is.
Hosta I hope you make the decision that feels right for you. I know what I would like it to be though.

For what it's worth my 2d. worth Hosta.
I spent 15 years of my medical career desperate to give up, but always took the easy way out and stayed, did not want to take a risk.
Eventually it made me ill and I had to give up, but decided I am too old to start a new career, still not wanting to take a risk I suppose.
