  • Morning everyone else! I'm only vaguely keeping up  -best wishes to all with illness and aches and pains and dealing with ignorant people.

My baby has gone back to nighttime sleeping again so im feeling more human.  Elder child has recovered from sickness and is back to school.  Looking after just one baby is like a holiday ! (Didn't feel like that first time around!) Hoping I can bagsie the car today and have a trip to garden centre for cake.  What a life!

  • Eek,  no porridge!  Oh poor Chicky!  We're big porridge eaters.  My little one loved it when he was 2.  He role played making it and selling it at nursery, drew pictures of it, ate it for supper as well as breakfast.  Once I offered him chocolate to avoid having to make it image (tired mum!) which he wolfed down and then requested porridge again.

Oh dear chicky, what will you do?image.  My fave is poached egg on wholemeal toast but porridge when it gets very cold.  Glad things are returning to normal Snoodle and Hooe you get your GC visitimage

It's raining here this morning so I'm trying to delay the dog walk for a while in the hope it goes off.  Hope Dove is lucky with the weather for the drive.

    Have a good day everyone.

    Morning all!

So NOW  I know how to collect dog samples: oh how my jam jar wishes it knew this earlier!!

Who mentioned the rape in full bloom? Sounds like someone put in a second crop for two harvests this year. Does that not happen very often? It was often common place where I grew up.

    (Ha like I'm grown up).

Well I'd best get out of bed and get to work: I can't keep up with my emails at the moment.

Morning all. Been wet here but clearing up. I have washing to go out so fingers crossed image

No milk is a hanging offence in this house. How would I survive without tea image

Grass all cut and edged last night - took me ages. Must be getting slow in my old age.

Clari - there was a large field of oilseed in full bloom where we were on holiday. It's big 'grain country' so perhaps it was a second crop as you say. I was surprised to see it at that time of year.

Hope Dove gets some good weather for wearing these image

Right - off to get organised and head off. Catch you all later. Have a great day whatever you're up to. image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

Lovely sunny morning. Rained all night and the rain drops are glistening on the washing line. Lovely haze on the meadow backing onto the garden. Hope the weather is better than forecast.
