Try ashwood nurseries for hellebores.special open day in February. We could have a meet  up.

  • Hope so Verdun, I really enjoy the helpful tips. And ideas from everyoneimage

Woottens are superb - I was fortunate enough to live very close by for quite a few years image

Provided the winter isn't very bad the February one should be full of interest

Evening all. I'm at my daughter's near Poitiers and her OH has managed to find the WiFi number. First thread I've looked at so don't know what's been going on elsewhere, but all my favourite people seem to be here, so it seems OK. Glad you haven't gone Punk doc. Don't you dare think of going Verdun. I do another forum too, but they are both different so I'll carry on with both.

We had chicken curry and apple tart for lunch with the children so had a salady selection of things from the fridge with fish fingers for tea. Children now bathed, in bed and asleep, hopefully.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
  • Evening all. Very wet again here today. Just taken on a second allotment plot, but weather is holding me back from clearing it and getting it tidy. Not cold, but where is the sun? Anyone seen it?

Off to eat home-made raspberry and apple crumble. Yum yum

We have flood warnings here for the next couple of days image

  • Oh no. Hope it doesn't affect you too much. Our local river does flood, but usually onto large flood plain so no worries immediately to my house. I really feel for those who've had flooding it must be devastating.
