I know we dont do politics on here, but please indulge me. I think we have lost a great man today. i did not agree with everything he said, but he made a difference and made politics a less dull place.

How can you lie there and think of England

Stacey, they are talking about Tony Benn, he has died image I remember studying government and politics at A level and all we seems to talk about was Tony Benn and Margaret Thatcher, oh and Neil Kinnock!!

    Stacey, Tony Benn R.I.P.

I attended a Miner's rally in 1984 and heard him speak, you could hear a pin drop, will never forget it.

Tracey, I had a "pint" with Neil K. Lovely man.

Morning all. Cloudy, cold and damp here. Sad news today with that crash and also Tony Benn. He was a fascinating and knowledgeable man to listen to away from politics, which doesn't interest me at all. Very articulate and amusing.

Doc - what have you done now? I don't know....imageimage

Going to get more compost later for the stuff I need to have indoors - don't think the girls appreciate the whiff from the organic stuff! image

It's called Vital Earth if anyone sees it in their GC.  It's lovely stuff - crumbly and rich. No complaints so far from me image

Off for a quick  look round the forum now.
