Like your potato tasting trial KEF.  There is so much talk of lovely fruit and veg on here that I'm almost tempted to tryimage  Your fruit was obviously good OL - the birds loved it.image

Feel for you Clari - what an awful weekimage

Its raining heavy here.  I chased off the birds and picked some blackcurrants and raspberries and made summer pudding with butter brioche instead of bread.  I did have a quiche ready for tea, but now its gone cold  and wet I fancy fish n chips.image

Hi everyone, very hot day at the salt mines. But not too bad a day, grotbags not in today and for the next couple of days off training somewhere.....perhaps its to do with people skills.....something she sadly lacks. So the next couple of days for me will be slightly better image

Clari, hope the decision on Friday goes the way you want it to, but I'm sure all will be fine. Things happen for a reason, sure this is the nudge you need for better things to come. Hugs.

Gg, well done, so pleased for you. You deserve it x

Hi OL, perhaps you could borrow little mans golf net image  Hope everything else ok image

Busy Liz, glad you had a lovely hols.

Sorry if I've missed anyone x

Hi everyone, not posted on this thread but was tempted by The faraway tree, St Clares and pavlova.  Hi Clari, I got made redundant in November for the third time! and I must say that each time I have moved on to better and more enjoyable things.  This time Ive decided enough is enough and Im just going to garden and look after my grandchildren. By the way I also wanted to go to boarding school tempted by the mid night feasts and the thought of playing lacrosse - no idea why because I was always first at thinking up creative ideas as to why I shouldnt do PE.  Off to Hampton Court Flower show in a couple of weeks is anyone else going! not sure the bank balance can stand it, after my trip to GardenersWorld at the NEC hubby is threatening to confiscate all my bank cards.

Hello everyone image No Lily yet? Hope the salt mine wasn't too rubbish image

Clari, thinking about you this week and I know I've said it before but I hope everything turns out for the best for you, whichever way that may be.  I agree with KEF (and others) and truly believe things happen for a reason.

Edd, I did mean bird food....sorry they got it before the worms had chance image But it all helps the big old circle of life along image They'd better make the most of it though because they won't be having any next year!!

Gardengirl, that sounds fantastic and fingers crossed you win your award.  KEF too, keeping fingers crossed for your nomination.
