Morning all a good nights sleep and all is well.... Plus oh my the garden is growing. Thalictrum seeds grown.... Thalictrum in the woods sprouting, clematis Montana wilsonii has leaves on one branch but I'm toying with cutting it right back to encourage growth from the base.... Other 2 sieboldii outside waiting to be planted up the tree, another ecinecea is sprouting (yey) and the lupins ( gone from2 to 6!!!) are looking great and unmunched!!!! Giving childminder the seeds today my lo will love watching them grow!!!! Oh and finally peony is sprouting away so to coin a phrase everything is good in the garden.... Oh and the echinops are romping away ( even my agapanthus is sprouting)
Very tired here as it was another very late night working at the museum made worse by the fact that I forgot the road was closed so had a 15-20 minute diversion around the country lanes. Oops!
Now I realise why all my friends feel bad in the morning after "partying hard" the night before. It's not the copious alcohol its the lack of sleep!
Hoping against hope that my compost bins arrive today - I'd really love to get them in place and the old ones dismantled (very rotten wood & since the neighbours are insistent on burning all sorts of rubbish every evening I could burn the dryer wood) this weekend. We'll see! My to do list for the garden is mounting up now.
Right. Time to pretend to be busy at work Have fun everyone!!
Stacey.....now you're just showing off I was counting how many I have last night and I'm rather impressed but still tiny, I think it's just a bit cold and a propagators is going on this year's Christmas list
Allium, yes different name but presumably the same muppet!!!
