Beautiful day - did everything i set out to. Now putting my feet up before i get the hoover out and clean the bathroom. Why do weekends fly by?
OH has been busy too. Our veg garden now has iron gates, and beech hedges round two sides. Hazel hurdles coming for a third side, plus some wire deer netting til the hedges thicken up enough to form a barrier. GH relocation yet to happen, but trampoline successfully moved today. All very exciting
Lots of gardening done, FYM spread, weeds removed. The garden has come to life. Yellow butterfly (brimstone?), peacock, small tortoiseshell, commas. Lily beetle squashed. The lilies aren't even up yet!!!
Two robins fighting over the patch I had just dug. A wren in the greenhouse.
A new wheelbarrow OH fetched from Wickes.
Now for a nice glass of wine, and put my feet up. Have a good evening folks.
Well, he does like cake ......... but he gets a lot of it at work - he's their official cake tester so it'll have to be very special cake to keep him out of the studio after he's finished digging the pond .....

Thanks KEF - I knew they produced bulblets, but I really didn't expect this many!
I shall treat mine as you treat yours, and tell them you said so

Watered mine today, but only where I'd sown some beetroot seeds
He says he's very expensive
And anyway, he has more pond to dig tomorrow - we've just decided it's going to be even bigger

Got some organic peat free compost at the GC as it was 4 x 50l bags for £10. I'll let you know if it's any good!
