    We've just got noisy frogs chirruping away.  I was a bit surprised to see one heading for the backdoor, complete with male piggyback.Maybe she fancied the jacuzzi.image

    Spring in all it's ............... image  It reminds me of years ago when I was a child on the farm - we had lots of mallards on the ponds, and at this time of year the poor ducks were hounded mercilessly by gangs of drakes - sometimes they would even drown a duck, such was their ardour.

    One day Ma opened the back door and found a drake having his wicked way with a duck there on the doorstep image

     

    Ma bent down, picked up the drake and wrung his neck - she thought the poor duck had had quite enough of that sort of thing!!! image
