Verdun, when we come down in September you, me and OH can move them on and then everyone can move in - it sounds as if Bekkie has enough beddfing for everybody.

I've had a quick skim over the last few pages to see what you've been up to, over the weekend. Sorry so many of you are suffering winter lurgies - we need MORE SUN. I've put in an order for it but we still seem to be having sleet and hail... Hope you all start feeling better soon.
There were daffodils out in Pembrokeshire, which was a lovely surprise - I'd forgotten how much warmer it would be down there. The singing was hard work but the break was nice. The cat hasn't forgiven us for going, but maybe it won't take too long...
Bekkie, thanks so much for the SAS spray recommendation! I've had to be a bit careful where I put it in the house, as it's brownish and a bit sticky. I sprayed behind the kick boards under the kitchen cupboards, and wiped a thin coating on the floor round the cat's tray, It really seems to have done the trick so far, with no sign of slugs in the kitchen! Spraying the undersides of this year's cell trays seems like a great idea too.
Busy day today catching up with Mum, shopping, washing, HW, paperwork etc. Really need to cut back my rose hedge, which went wild last year - maybe I'll start tomorrow, if it's not too sleety.
Better wash up... Night all!
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
Dove: I'm looking forward to finding out what they are when they flower. Whatever they are they're shooting up! I'd be so proud of myself.... had I remembered I had planted them!
Verdun. I had my overnight bag all ready to go! 16 boxes of jaffa cakes, a bottle of rum, and a clean pair of pants. What am I going to do now!?
What are you lot like! Only 10 or so pillows, the bed is 6'6" square owing to me livimg with a giant! (Still get elbowed in the face now and then) I have to double up on the cases since he ripped all but one of the protectors....no, i dont know how either, or how he ripped the elastic straps off the matress protectors while he was asleep....think gorrilla making a nest to sleep in!
Glad you like the spray Liri , i swear by the stuff . Hope puss forgives you soon!
Tell the truth Verdun, you heard about mansion tax and got rid
Panda, youve had a very productive day! That plant must have needed saving
Glad you had a safe journey Lesley
Still a lovely thing to do Clari, weather you always do it or not. I do that with plants all the time, such a nice supprise
SGL,you had salad, that means you can have cake after and it has no calories..thought you knew that!
Off to proper bed now rather than the sofa! Have burned steak for him indoors, how is it possible for something dead to bleed so much??? Sure i must be missing something! Night all x
Evening all. Just popping in before bedtime. It's been lovely reading your get well wishes. Think the antibiotics are starting to improve things, cough is heaps better and chest hardly hurts any more.
Daughter and 2 grandchildren arrived yesterday, but they wanted to leave me some peace for a sleep so they went and met other grandmother in local town. She lives in Bordeaux and it was 1 1/2 hours drive for her, which was good of her. They went out to lunch, she bought the children (5 and 3) some new clothes, and went to a playground.
Other daughter was coming tomorrow with 3 grandsons, but oldest (9) has a cold and his temperature has suddenly shot up.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Put them in the car boot until September Clari - OH and I are going down then to help Verdun to claim back his castle
