Morning all, Lovely and sunny here. Had a great nights sleep and a long lie in, much needed after the night before.
When hubby sleep he somehow manages to remove the bottom sheet and the matress protector, that's after he has stolen all the duvet and wrapped it round himself like a bug in a cocoon.
Aparently shopping trolley handles, keyboards and escalator handrails are the worst for spreading germs, closely followed I imagine by small children. Hope you feel better soon Clari.
Glad George is feeling a bit more chipper Bekkie, even if he is a bit stinky.
Popping to the danger zone to buy some seed compost, must remember to keep flicking the rubber band on my wrist I really can't afford to buy more plants.
LilyP I guessed you must have been a child bride. It was lovely out walking this morning with the sun shining on the frost and not a breath of wind
Yvie I'm sure they will have something on offer that you can pick up for hardly any money at all
DD the zoo sounds really good. OH took me to Edinburgh Zoo for my birthday last year and booked to see the pandas. It was great. OK - maybe I haven't grown up yet......no chance now.
Some seedlings need pricking out so I'll have to bring the compost in to warm it up. We won't have a clear windowsill anywhere in the house by the time I'm finished.
Well, its reassuring that its not just my OH that does weird stuff while they are asleep, but why???? and is it just men? How very, very strange!
Yvie, if you carry something in your arms around the GC, you cant pick up anything else to buy, if its very heavy, you wont want to linger, you will just want to get out....not saying ive had these problems in the past or anything
LP, your OH does sound tough, i wouldnt want to chop wood on a good day!, erm, he dosent fancy a trip to the west mids to chop down some trees does he?
RB, hope it goes ok at the docs and you can get in the garden...what a beautiful day we have!
Kef, you got the lurgy too? Flippin eck everyones getting it, hope it goes soon
As for alcho gel and all the rest, im the worlds worst and still get everything going, even been known to stand by a door til someone goes through because i dont want to touch the door....done me no good, i may as well go round licking everyones faces!
Have been in the garden all morning, well the garden shed actually because it needed a thorough clearing out
Old tools, three bin liners of pots, old garden lighting, lots and lots of random pieces of wood, half a kitchen (Oh bought it once in the sale and it never got used) and just junk really. One bin liner of near empty bottles like car wash and plant spray
Well, its all going in the skip.
Having a quick coffee and back out to do something fun now...like stick a plant in the ground weather is just fine here. cloudy but not cold. Early-early spring like
Yvie, only take enough money for your purchase and leave the cards at home
I've been for a brief walk to the post box, hung some washing out, sorted out a bookcase, ordered some anniversary flowers for Pa to give to Ma next week and eaten lunch - now I'm absolutely bushed!!! Shall have to sit on the sofa for a bit before I cook a curry for supper
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Must be day for sorting, I've gone through a few kitchen cupboards, sorted, cleaned, put things back and a have a few bits for charity shop and thrown out other bits. Where does it all come from?!!
Now I'm pooped, had lunch, will now just sit and relax.
Saw last of Broadchurch last night, rather dissappionting And apparently there's going yo be another series
Lily Pilly
Must be a man thing, my OH often somehow gets the fitted sheet and mattress protector to come adrift. Woke up the other night with no duvet either, most of it was on the floor his side
Hope all doc visits went well and all poorly peeps are feeling better.
Can I come please Dove? Really fancy a curry but not long since they had one at home. Bolognaise for us - and I can see KEF's face thinking about the pasta
Bekkie the other things (apart from snoring) that OH does in his sleep are a) kicking me and b) leaping about a foot in the air to turn over. Why oh why am I so tired.
Wintersong you put me to shame with all your gardening. Still too wet to do any digging/planting but I could tackle the buddleia and cornus. Why did autocorrect think I meant Cornish (hi Verdun).

I think alco gel is the cause of all these issues - no germ build up = no immunity
Morning all
Lesley, I remember your visit
Have a good day all, more jobs to search for.....
Happy lunch time...
