Grandaughter finally fell asleep. She is so spotty and uncomfortable so I'm not expecting to get much sleep. Adults arent at risk apparently so I should be OK. I have never had any childhood diseases seemed to be immune to all of them. Brother and Sister had them all but I always escaped and didnt get them when my children had them.
I had about six old victorian chimney pots at my old house and used to plant them up each year. I left them behind when I moved because I was going to a modern house and didnt think they would look right. Wish I had now because they would look great in my present victorian house. I do have one but Im not sure about planting it up because it has a crack in it. I keep garden canes in it at the moment.
Hope GD gets some sleep Yvie - poor thing. On cracked chimney pots - i plant mine up with plastic pots that i slot in the top of the chimney - don't think a crack would hurt doing it that way.
Morning. Dark when the alarm went off this morning .... But have just been out picking raspberries for my breakfast regardless .... which still makes it technically summer, doesn't it.
hope all have a good week - esp OL and OH, as they start their new Venture.
Liri, love that garden transformation and the flowers you have shown are so lovely too.
Yvie, hope little one feeling better, my son had it when he was small, was horrible and then strangely enough they said he was allergic to his own saliva so as a teething baby his chin was always red and sore.
Back to my digging again today, did get some hedges trimmed yesterday and that makes a big difference - long way from being perfect like Liri's though.
Have a good day all.

Yvie, glad you've found out what it is and that it's no worse than that - horrid tho' - it swept through our village when my two were small - somehow they escaped it. Back then it was treated with Gentian Violet - we got quite used to seeing childfren with purple hands and lips.
I had chickenpox as an adult - I had spots where no one should have them!!! The following year I had mumps - I was so poorly - there are photographs somewhere but thankfully I've no idea where!
