Bought the spray Bekkie, came to £20 for two cans with postage but If it lasts a long time then it's worth it. Couldn't find it on any other site. It brightened up here and was just about to go outside when the heavens opened again so I've taken it as a sign that I shouldn't garden today.
Re OH, gym's OK as long as he does the right exercises. He needs to keep his core strong. Not sure heavy weights are a good idea though.
That spray is fab in the greenhouse, especially inbetween the cells in trays where the slugs etc hide, remember to spray the glass as ive caught the little devils climbing up the walls to drop down on the plants because the pots were sprayed, youve got to admire the ingenuity!
Yvie, snap! Ordered the SAS spray from the only site which has it in stock.
Thanks for the tip & phone number, Bekkie - the manufacturers told me their new stock (just the same product but in redesigned packaging) won't be available until March, and that it's only sold by mail order. P&P is high because it has to be delivered by courier; apparently you mustn't send aerosols by post. I reckon it'll be worth the cost to be free of the blighters, eating the cat's biscuits at night...
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
How many thorns and splinters can your skin grow over through the years until you are more tree than flesh? I reckon im going to start growing hawthorn blossom out of my fingers soon!
Yeah Liri, i had that problem when i had a blind but very greedy lab who used to spray food everywhere whilst trying to inhale it, under the washer must have been like heaven for them
Ahhh, that makes sense about the delivery charge then....stupid me, i never thought to ask!
The cat doesn't spread her food around, but she's a "grazer", so I have to leave her food out at night. If I'm ever around before dawn (a rare occurrence!), I sometimes find a slug in the food dish - very yucky, and of course the cat won't eat the biscuits once they've been slimed... I've tried sticking copper tape around the edges of the tray but it hasn't deterred the beasties.
