    Morning all.

Another lovely sunny, if slightly breezy, morning.

Tree surgeon chap has already brought a load of shreddings and another " 2 or 3" to come.

Suppose I'd better start shifting it.

    Devon.
  • Good morning everyone image Another beautiful day here also and after a nosey round the garden, i have seen theres flowers open on two of my pumkins and quite a few open on the courgettes. Have a lovely day whatever your doing image

    Morning all.

Sunny, but still quite cold here.

Sitting here putting off digging large holes for the Cannas, I need an under gardener, so I can direct operations, sow seeds, take cuttings and delegate heavy or boring jobs to them.

Have a lovely day, whatever you are doing.

How can you lie there and think of England

Morning all, just about, Sorry to hear about Reggie Clari, and your hall, hope he's OK now.

Didn't lie in this morning.  Even though I am late I have already been to the GC to buy a pot (came back with two) for the clematis my friend bought me on Sunday.  Arrived home to find a delivery man knocking on the door (amazing I usually see his tail lights disappearing around the corner as I pull up).  He had a delivery of plants from Paddock.  Someone on here recommended them I think.  Good value, packed a bit weird in wet newspaper and plastic (no pots) but in quite good condition.  The only complaint I have is they don't label them.  Most of them are easy to identify but I'm going to have to investigate the Agapanthus and Day Lilly to double check which is which.

Also had a delivery of trellis a few minutes later, again amazed I didn't miss him.

Spent the next 15mins moving a huge pot that I really shouldn't have tackled. Hubby will have a fit when he gets back from the gym.  I can hear him now, "you should have waited for me to get back I'd have moved it for you" while he was really thinking "thank God she moved that, it would have finished me off".

After a restorative cuppa I better start thinking about PPP for these new purchases.

I really think I'm going to start a support group for gardeners who really cannot help but buy plants that they have absolutely nowhere to putimage

I'll join your group Yvie ..... Hi I'm Panda, and I'm a plantaholic image

2 geums and 2 salvia hot lips stuck to me on the way past the market today image I do have a spot for the salvias though, as I rather butchered the one I bought last year imageand can see no signs of regrowth so will replace with the new ones and not hack next year image

Thanks for support, will let you know how it went when I know image

If anyone is about who can tell the difference between an agapanthus and a Day Lilly could you take a look at my new thread please.  Thanks.

Mmm hadn't thought of that Wonky, it would help the plants but not my bank balance.  I think I need one of those rubber bands you snap on your wrist so that I can give it a tweak every time I think I  need a new plant.

I'd always forget to tweak it Yvieimage.  Just in for a drink and recuperation because I'm working backwards on my knees to get the b....y weeds from between the paving.  Plenty of dandelions and lady's mantle.  I've also been singing Lonnie Donegan's 'My old man's a dustman'.  Daisy rootsimage. .  OH is bowling again and said 'we really must get that done'image.  'WE' are getting there and there will be benefits next time at the GC.  He'll treat me to a sconeimage
