    OMG Clari, that sounds horrendous!

On a lighter note, I just saw a juvenile Sparrowhawk /Kestrel in my garden! ! !

OMG I'm so excited.  I heard it's high pitched trill and saw it land on the roof next door with a mind to raid the sparrow nests in the guttering like the magpies do. It was a sandy colour with a pale chest, yellow feet and markings on its tail.

It flew off empty beaked but gave a passing pigeon a fright right across the back of my house

Good morning Lesley image  Kind of you to offer, but I'm going to pop up to the Farm Shop in a while - it's judging day for the local Food Heroes so I thought I'd go and swell the numbers of customers and be nosy at the same time as OH won't be there! image

Morning all - stop rubbing it in Verd....image Nice just now though

I'll try and cross fingers chicky - but it makes my job a bit tricky if I do image

Ooh lovely W'song - anything that frightens pigeons is welcome in my garden. Sounds more kestrel-y if it's sandy. I love all birds of prey - buzzards are very common up here but it never fails to thrill me when I see them.

Off for a quick look round before I go. Have  a great day everyone image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

I think something had more than a fright in my garden. There is a big pile of white feathers on the lawn. I think the sparrowhawk got to feed its babies.

Ducks seem to have deserted us, I think she might have finally laid eggs.

We seem to have two hedgehogs living very close by. They come on to the patio for food around 9Pm, while it is still light.

OH says   I can have a day trip to the seaside. He wants to go to North Wales, I think to check on his sisters house. Its not far from Crug farm plants. I feel a plant hunting expedition coming on. I am already drawing up a list. Anyone in the vicinity fancy a visit?'

    It will probably be Thursday.

I am glad I don't do exams any more, they use to give me nightmares.
