As some of you will already know, I‘m not normally one given to posting personal information, however, I have a (pending) problem which I would like to call on the collective wisdom of you Forkers for a possible solution.
A little while ago I decided to turn my untidy, full of junk large spare bedroom into a nice guest room. Everything was cleared to the bare floors, walls & ceiling. I spent a lot of money investing in redecoration, new carpet, double bed and all new furniture & fittings……sparkling new and now looking really nice.
The problem: My sister lives in sheltered accommodation and when her son (my nephew) and his wife visit, they either reserve the guest room at the home, or if unavailable, stay at a local hotel. Today she hinted that they will be able to stay with me in future……no problem so far cept they have dog that they are potty about and is allowed to sleep with them……absolutely no way is this going to happen at Dave’s place……Dave’s not a lap dog lover or does he intend his home being turned into a kennel.
Are they allowed the dog to sleep on their bed at the home David? Would you be ok with the dog coming but sleeping downstairs? Like Bekkie, I would say as long as they know the parameters up front they I think that would be fine

At the end of the day its your house, so its your rules, as long as you are upfront then i cant see a problem
