Hello folks, Dove's been watering (with a lot of help from the under gardener image)  30+ pots of tomatoes, plus cukes also in pots, and the raised beds needed a good soaking, as did the front border - the poor fig tree was thirsty and it's leaves started to go yellow image - not surprised 34C in the front garden image

Sorry some people have had carp days - but TGIF imageimageimage  Have a little alcofrolic something or other with me image  and help Panda celebrate - HER HOLIBOBS START HERE!!!

Fairy it was me who polished vegetables when I was a nipper. Always been so house proud NOT !  My Dad grew veg to show like Woody and I can remember polishing something with milk and I thought onions, crickey I was at infant school. I thought Woody might know.

He also grow and showed roses and I do know how to remove and tweak petals image At one point he had hundreds and a lot he grafted onto root stock. Today would have been his 87th B/d.

Time to go and scoff, see you all later.

KEF  - the onion thing does sound familiar. Your Dad must have passed on his greenfingers to you. I'm sure he'd have been very proud of that  image

Supper has been eaten out on the terrace - the under gardener is washing up, the hedgehog food dishes have been filled and food has been scattered for noisy young blackbirds and dunnocks.  It reached 34C in the shade out in the front garden image

    Anyone heard from Punkdoc lately?
