Evening everyone image Another failed day in the garden for me, I woke up with the worst headache I've had in ages, it's gone now thankfully but not impressed it spoilt my plans.

Lovely pics today, I love daffs.....as you probably all know and at least it is something to look forward to in a few months.  I didn't manage to get the orchid ones I was after though so will just have to make do with what I've got already.

I didn't realise FG was still on hols, I thought she was home already.  Welcome home Fairy and sorry your house was in a bit of a state, how rude of your guest image

  • OL, it was fidget that was on hollibobs not Fairy image

Had seven hours sleep.awake at3.30am.it will probably take three days for bodyclock to reset.  I found a way to reset my video camera on youtube. Its a bit complicated, involving tiny screwdrivers, 4v current from a battery, and lots of hope.

However if it works, I can still use the camera for downloading existing tapes, and probably using around the garden. having bought 5 new tapes at a cost of £40 I need to use them really.

I think I might have to upgrade for diving purposes. The latest version is solid state with a projector and will also take 24 mp stills. approx £750 for camera, then about £900 for a housing that I can still use my video light on. Different type of housing would mean new video lights, also very expensive if marine rated to 60m. Not for nothing is underwater photography described as ripping up £20 notes in a cold shower...... and I've never had a flood, (never mention the f word on a dive site) which tends to mean a total write off.

Still, I'm not likely to get another holiday until this time next year, so plenty of time to save up.

I see everywhere seems to have gone into xmas mode while I've been away. I remember when the shops used to have the stuff in at the end of November and  December was the build up.Now it seems to start on September 1st.

Good morning all image and welcome back Fidget  ((hugs))

Think your houseguest/sitter needs a severe talking too!!! image

As for underwater cameras - I think I'd have to be happy with having a good visual memory and descriptive powers!  Ordinary cameras are expensive enough!

Morning all! 13 hour shift at work today as the fright night horrors have started. Hopefully I can collect my garlic bulbs from the postman too and then we'll be working out where they can go when I (might) have a day off on Friday. The vegetable garden is no way near ready for anything so space is tight.

    Keep safe everyone!
