You're on the ball Doveimage. If I had looked it up I would think I had been mistaken all these years because the RHS knows bestimageimage

I'll pass on the Guiness KEF thanks all the sameimage.  Top of the morning to youimage.

LilyP - glad you've still got the family with youimage.  I don't think Pdoc is due to go there till June - maybe he's in trainingimage.

Have a good day everyone. HW for me but will feel better when it's done.

Morning all. Kew on  a plate last night was FAB.

Kate Humble wins two bonus  Pedants' Corner points for saying " the peas are growing up their teepees" Hurrah, she didn't wrongly call them wigwams.

And she pronounce chorizo correctly ( cho ree tho, NOT as is commonly said cho reet so)

I thought the balance of gardening, cookery and a bit of Kew based science was perfect.

What did you guys who watched it think?

BTW wasn't the soil in those beds to die for?

Morning all. Didn't come here this morning because I had lots of email notifications, but they missed out Hello Forkers.

If no one wants Dove's cake I'll have it, looks yummy, just my sort of thing.

Have been in veggie garden this morning. Took up the weed supressing fabric and dug up the rest of the leeks for the freezer. OH has rotovated all the bits where I want to put onions, potatoes, broad beans, peas.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

    No, Joe Archer http://www.kew.org/visit-kew-gardens/explore/attractions/kew-on-plate-kitchen-garden

I think he's going to be quite an attraction image

If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need.

Bother, wish I'd watched it. Turned off TV to get ready for bed, it's an hour later here in France.
