More like last of the summer wine truth be told.

Of course wear your kilt: the weather down there is humid and muggy. You'll need all the fresh air you can get to keep things healthy!

Verdun, glad your cousins is to get home

    Clari. how you doing?

have been a bit cheeky and put on a new thread looking for accommodation for my student nephew in Bordeaux. I know there are several members in France who run B&B and this would be great for a few weeks to get him started. Hope I am not pushing the boundaries!

spent all afternoon tying up the Virginia creeper to the gable end after the painters, what a job, we only went up 12 ft, hope it reattached, the hydrangea on the other side isn't looking greatimage

I go away for a couple of days and the conversation turns to booze and kilts. (Welcome Bushman)image

Nanna duty finished until September, Oh except for the 3 weeks holiday with themimage.  Not liking the weather at all at the moment  warm and humid, yuk, don't mind warm when it's sunny but not when it's damp.

I have the rest of the week to get the garden sorted, wash and pack and sort out the house.  Can't leave it in the usual state as my friend is staying for 3 weeks to look after the garden.

Verdun, those Cannas have really shot up in the last couple of days, the picture was deceiving as the pots are bigger than they look.  I have a feeling that they will flower and fade while I am on hols and I wont see the flowers at all.

Glad to hear your cousin is coming home Verdun, I'm sure he will pick up once he gets there.

    Hugs Clari.

Glad you are enjoying you hols Busy.

Off for a quick look round.
