Have hacked down a shrub/tree that appeared from nowhere last year. Not sure what it is/was but got far too big for the space and the branches were rubbing against the new fence. Can't do anymore to it will have to wait till OH recovers and can either saw the rest off or dig it up Not going to mention that to him yet or the flu may last a little longer lol.
Lily - do everything you can for him (from a distance) and he won't be able to refuse your request.
Jo - what a flippin' pain ( stronger words are available). Is there any way you could get out of the fine? Did you forget to put the Doctor on call sign up? It's amazing how councils can put up signage that no-one notices until they're caught out. It makes me.
Had a great time last night. Good company, food and the odd beverage. No dancing for me LilyP but a lot of arm waving (oops, bingo wings) went on. I had a lift down to the club but had to walk home - not too far and had imbibed sufficient anaesthesia. Head OK so far
Hosta at least you've got Downton to look forward to tonight
Thank you everyone for all good wishes. The day went very well, lots of sunshine, food , and booze, and dancing until after midnight. Friends went home with bunches of flowers. Family went home with wedges of cake. I need sleep now, before we head to Cornwall for a minimoon. I may need Verduns cabin. Photos later when we have a chance to sort them.
Fidget ((hugs)) so glad you had a lovely day Enjoy Cornwall - we highly recommend the amazing Hedgehog Icecreams on Chapel Porth beach - free parking if you're member of NT- and it's a lovely secluded little cove with not many visitors - absolutely beautiful
Of course you may be miles away from there - Cornwall's a big place.
Afraid we all behaved disgracefully at your Hen Party - you were very wise to leave early
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
We love it and just keep going back - we went twice this holiday - just so laid back, good food and wonderful rum and really relaxed atmosphere - and we're not even rum drinkers And the view from the tables by the windows are wonderful.

So glad you had a wonderful day Fidget. Look forward to seeing your pics. Have a lovely minimoon, take care, very best wishes and safe journey. Lots of love xx

Heading for st Ives. I need a pasty, fish and chips and ice cream, not necessarily in that order.
Oooh, you must go here http://rumandcrabshack.com/ It's right on the edge of the harbour
