Today I have picked gooseberries, blackcurrants , raspberries, broad beans and courgettes.

Then I picked a load of sweet peas and changed the flowers in the house.

On Thursday we plan to go to the buddhist japanese garden , just North of Newark that was on the telly in January.  Anyone fancy joining us.?

I cooked some gooseberries to have with pork, but OH prefers apple as its sweeter.

The blackcurrants, I have chucked in the freezer for now. I am thinking of making  blackcurrant vodka. We haven't eaten all the jam I made last year, since we are now on no bread diet.   I've lost more weight than him. It's supposed to be his diet. He's cheating when he is away from home.

Raspberries seem to be disappearing one by one.image

    Evening all,

Busy times for me, I am reading but not always managing a post

Garden got a lot of rain last night I think, it's that time of year my garden normally fades but this year it's still going strong and I am making mental notes about gaps. Desperate to visit a GC but I need to make more of what I have and just let things mature a bit to notice what is lacking.

Going to be making a Clematis plan of my garden to keep track of what I planted and add others but in their appropriate groups. If group 1 doesn't need a prune and group 3 get the chop in February then it's best to mix group 2 with 1? But not 3 and 1?

This mornings posts made me laugh image

Went to Hyde Hall on our way back to Eastbourne. Lovely, but not as lovely as the other 3 RHS gardens. But it's young and new projects are underway. Bought a clematis "Crystal Fountain". OH is a bit worried about how all the plants will fit in the car on our way back to France.

Lily Pilly, I have answered your question about Bordeaux Uni as best as I can on your thread. If your nephew is fluent in French he needs to go to Bordeaux and search in person taking all papers about identity, qualifications and guarantees and references that he can.
