Being a simple man, I have decided I cannot cope with posting on 2 different sites, so with the imminent closure of this one, I think I will try to migrate fully to the other side.
Thanks for everything, you cannot possibly know how much this place has meant to me.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
Well the sunshine didn't last long and I got rained off before lunch. Of course as soon as I'd sat down, the rain stopped and the sun came back out. Luckily the rain held off and I've finished pruning the hydrangeas and also did the cornus sibirica so I'm pleased about that. Got masses of red twigs to use as climbing bean supports later in the year.
My son is still here which is lovely, although he's WFH so upstairs in the office and is going out for dinner with an school friend tonight so we won't actually see much of him. Still, I'm grateful for any small snippets of his attention!
Now to try perusing GC again - see you all there. Has anybody notified Pansyface? I know she's notĀ currently posting but she might try sometime in the future?
I am a regular reader of the GW Forum but have never posted before. My daily routine always starts with a catch-up on Hello Forkers so I feel I 'know' quite a few of you on here. I'm disappointed that the forum is closing down - my initial thoughts were 'Oh no, now what will I do!' - but would like to say a big thank you to all the posters who make me smile with their comments. Too many names to mention but 'Dovefromabove' - thank you for keeping this thread going every month and to everybody else who has helped solve my gardening problems in other discussions over the years. I too will look at crossing to the other side with the rest of you. Thank you all.
Hi @Lazyweed..... It seems there are many of us that start our day with a hot drink and a little look on the forum.... It's a shame it took this for people to be brave enough to say hello...š we aren't that terrifying... Well most of us aren't.... But I lurk at times when I'm feeling a little flat..... But without this place I'd be very very lonely! Let's all move on and over and join in when we are ready š
