Yes @tui34, you may not even need as much salt but whatever you do just keep it to the drive, NOT the flower borders.

I use the same mixture @Busy-Lizzie . It kiils the weeds no problem, but it does need redoing quite frequently.

Of course - just the walking areas.  I never use chemicals in my vegetable or flower garden.  I've done a specimen this afternoon on the paving area under the pergola.  I'll give it 2 weeks to see if there's a "browning".

@Busy-Lizzie, yes I did see your message and did try to reply but I think I hit the wrong button so it was bounced back to me as undeliverable. I've said as much on the GC Wakey Wakey thread.

Have done as you suggested and am awaiting approval.

Do hope your back recovers from the lawn mowing! I've been pruning most of the day so now my right shoulder's aching a bit. Still, a couple of glasses of rose helped!

Thank you @Lizzie27. I just had a glass of white with dinner. Good night.

    Good morning Forkers!!

Beautiful sunny morning with grey clouds and the most amazing humidity.  Everything is wet but there has been no rain!!

Some gardening this morning and a trip to the market - I will take a bunch of freesias to a well-being lady who does marvellous massages.  I hope they will brighten up her day!

A few days left on this site so I am continuing to post as I feel the other one is very very busy and full of threads.  I will probably be using the Wakey Wakey ..... for the wake up call.

A little expression for March:  Brouillard en mars, gelée en mai.   I sincerely hope not but in May as I have explained previously, we have the 3 Saints Glace which are mid-May.  Once these are over, it is safe to plant out with no risk of frost. (Hopefully)!!

May you all have a peaceful and happy day.

    Morning
A quick hello. I normally enjoy visitors but this lot couldn't have come at a worse time! I have been kept away from here and the gc forum at a dramatically high point.
    See you guys, take care.

    Morning all.

I slept very well and my back feels a lot better than yesterday. Having coffee in bed.

It's been raining but there was a glimse of sunshine. It's so warm I didn't light the stove when I went down to make coffee. 20.9C in the kitchen.

I still find GC rather confusing, threads all over the place but a lot are old ones.

A+  @coccinella  !!  Probably a good time as I believe we are bombarding GC with posts and may need to take a step backwards!

    Enjoy te company.

For the non Frenchies:  A+ = A plus which means:  catch you later.
