Morning all, in case anybody's still on here. It's warmish and cloudy here so I'm going to shoot out into the garden quick. Got lots to do.
    See you on GC later.Ā
    Enjoy your day.

    Morning hope all.

    Gosh it’s really winding-down on here - quite sad.Ā

    But

It’s worth trying the Gardener’s Corner if you haven’t already - some of us are posting regularly and I feel comforted by familiar names.Ā

Have a good Sunday everyone- our last weekend on Forkers, and GW šŸ’”
My garden and I live in South Wales.Ā

    Morning all.

@Lizzie27 I've sent you a message, have you seen it?

I had a bad night because the lawn mowing yesterday has upset my back. I wanted to plant the roses that are still heeled in in the veg garden. Soon it will be too late.

    Good afternoon everyone.

I posted a good morning on GC but put it into the wrong thread. Ā It is in the Introduction to GW members and not the Wakey Wakey one. Ā

I also went into Preferences on my Profile Account and I think I have stopped the Alert Emails as well as peoples' signatures.

Now for a bit of Wordle!

    Have a lovely Sunday folks.

Oh! Ā By the way. Ā I am looking for a recipe for weedkiller using vinegar and salt (and water?). Ā I believe this solution will kill the tops but not the roots of weeds.

Has anybody for the amounts I should use for this, please? Ā Many thanks in great anticipation!! XX

Thank you @Hebe PĀ  :). Do consider joining us on Gardeners Corner ... the layout/appearance is very different to GW, but bit by bit we're getting the hang of it and the Admin are very kind and helpful. Ā  :)

@tui34 I've used one of those big plastic bidons of strong household vinegar that I bought in Leclerc, a small tea cup of salt and a squirt of washing up liquid, put it in a sprayer and sprayed the drive. The weeds took a little while to die down and then grew back fairly quickly though.

    Hi Liz

Thank you. Ā So would that be 5 litres of white vinegar to a teacup of salt? Ā I believe it does get the job done on the surface but not down to the roots. Ā I'll have a go. Ā Anything to get those little weeds down that are difficult to pull up. Ā I don't mind pulling up nettles etc as they come up in a big lot - it's the little ones that are annoying.

I'll let you know. Ā Again, thank you. Ā
