@punkdoc, what a very kind thing to say! I’ve managed to get myself signed up, and was pleased to see that you have not only revived your old account on GC, but have updated your name to the one we know you by on here.Ā
Quite a few familiar names on there, and I’ve even managed to start posting.Ā
I was quite shocked at my emotional response to the closure news yesterday. It’s been such a relief today to realise that I’m not going to lose touch with a group of friends, despite never having met or even spoken to them! I’m feeling positively cheerful this evening!
I do hope you manage to transfer over, @coccinella, that’s tiresome.
Glad you got the eye appointment over with, @Allotment Boy, and hoping the problem will resolve by your next visit.
Glad you got home safely, EtoileViolette, ( I’ll have to work at remembering your new name!)

It was funny @Ergates, when I entered Busy-Lizzie I was told that name was already taken but when I did @ in front of it it didn't come up.

I'm glad there was better news about your eye @Allotment Boy.

    Very nice fruitcake @Pat E Ā šŸ˜† šŸ˜‹Ā

I hope you’re able to join us all on Gardeners CornerĀ

    https://www.gardenerscorner.co.uk/forums/Ā

The site looks more complicated than this one but it’s simpler if you use a tablet or ipad … and then Admin there are very helpful if you’re having difficulty … they’ve made us feel very welcome 😊

    Good morning Forkers!!

Again, dismal but still. Ā No wind means clouds and no sun!! Ā Oh! Ā Here comes the sun!!

Such a lot of activity on the threads about the big move. Ā I am reassured that most people will be transferring which is great! Ā  I think we were all very emotional @Ergates with the sudden news of the closure. Ā Talk about the rug being pulled! Ā I think we are all calming down a bit now that we are settled into the new site.

Hello @Pat E Ā  I hope you are transferring to Gardners Corner too. Ā We enjoy guessing the cloud formations you post.
Ā Glad you have arrived safely @Busy-Lizzie (EV!) ad hopefully the drive to the coast wasn't too uncomfortable. Ā Maybe some electricals Ā have got wet thus shorting the gate. Ā Such a nuisance - I have the same problem - and since my husband died, I cannot find the key!!

Ā I had a look too @WonkyWomble and @diggersjo Ā  Super place to work!! Makes getting up in the morning worthwhile. Ā Good luck and keep in touch on GC.Ā

A load of washing to hang out and a bike ride to the markets this morning for fresh eggs. Ā If I am early enough, I get the large as there are quite often double Yorkers. Ā Happy girls!!

A little expression: Ā Quand en mars il tonne, l'amande sera bonne.
    Tonne Ā thunder

    Have a good Friday everyone!

Thank you @tui34 😁 it's the only nursery I use or recommend locally. It's an interesting location with natural springs which was used for growing food on large scale since world war two. I hope to keep in touch with everyone I've I join the other forum but I'll give it a few days as I'm super busy.
I hope you get your double yolkers.... How do they work with dippy eggs I wonder šŸ¤”

Don’t you remember having Dippy Double Yolkers when we lived at The Mill @WonkyWomble? 😊
